Philip Smith.
Background.
Principal of Beng, Philip Smith, has been involved in design, branding and product development for the past decade. With deft ability to combine a degree in Industrial Design and a natural talent for visual communication, Philip has increasingly focused on identity and brand consulting.
With a strong business background his most recent role has seen him Brand and Marketing Manager of transport firm Yellow Express, in Sydney, Australia. Through clever rebranding, Philip increased removals sales by more than 63% in less than nine months; an impressive result in turbulent 2009.
Beng is the new face to his consultancy. Beng is about branding for business – achieving results through targeted messages to a well researched target market.
“I have worked on many start ups” says Philip. “I have a keen interest in business and this has allowed me to practice creative pursuits while in management roles. I apply this business understanding to brands. A brand must deliver a return.”
